We are hosting our first

End of Summer TriviAle Bash

the weekend of August 27-29, 2010!

 

 

A "trivia bash" is basically a big party for fans of  NTN Buzztime Trivia.  People who play BT at bars and restaurants all over converge on a host bar for a weekend of fun, beer, food & trivia. 

 

Mary C., a.k.a. "Red" of the Buzztime Gurus, will be flying in from NTN Buzztime's headquarters in California to bring schwag and goodwill, as well as the grace of her presence.

 

There is no charge for the event, other than for the food and drink you consume.  (Although Buzztime has promised to sponsor a Happy Hour for players, as well.)

 

The cool thing about being a brewpub, of course, is that we can make a special beer for the event, so Ric is!  The weekend promises to be a glorious collision of beer geeks and trivia geeks.

 

For anyone who needs overnight accommodations, I highly recommend the AmericInn, which is located less than a mile from our front door.
In addition to being incredibly close, it is a lovely hotel, offering breakfast, very clean rooms, a really nice, open lobby, a cool manager (Matt), a swimming pool and a hot tub. What's more, they will offer us the conference room for after-hours partying. Matt will give anyone from our group an $85/night rate (down from their normal $129 rate). Please make reservations by the end of July and mention you're with Stewart's or the Trivia Bash or some combination thereof.

We will have T-shirts printed to commemorate the event.  Profits from the shirt sales will go to the Food Bank of Delaware.  If you are coming and want a T-shirt, please let us know your size so we can pre-order.
